Traders partner with our technologists to continually engineer and optimize our trading systems to stay on top of the industry.As an Interest Rates Trader, you will play a critical role in developing and executing trading strategies within Belvedere Trading's interest rate products team. Leveraging your deep understanding of the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) market, you will analyze data, identify trading opportunities, and manage risk in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your strong analytical skills, quantitative mindset, and market intuition will be essential as you contribute to the firm's success in interest rate derivatives and related markets.In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across trading, research, and technology to continuously optimize strategies and enhance performance. Your expertise in risk assessment and trade execution will be instrumental in driving profitability and maintaining Belvedere's competitive edge.What you'll do

• Become a leader in interest rates trading, recognized and rewarded for your contributions to the firm's success.
• Participate in formal education on quantitative concepts and interest rate markets to expand your trading expertise.
• Execute trades in a fast-paced environment with precision and a focus on maximizing profitability.
• Develop and refine tools to evaluate risk, analyze positional opportunities, and enhance trade efficiency in SOFR and related markets.
• Analyze market data to identify trends, price dislocations, and opportunities for optimized trade execution.
• Develop tools to analyze positional opportunities, evaluate risk, and improve options liquidity.
• Collaborate with technologists, quants, and traders to systematize models and trading strategies.
• Ensure risk management by monitoring and managing positions within defined risk limits and market conditions.What you'll need
  • 2+ years of options trading experience, preferably in Interest Rate Options Products
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical background; familiarity with market microstructure and pricing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with the ability to work with large datasets and develop models.
  • Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.$150,000 - $200,000 a yearAdditionally, certain positions at Belvedere Trading are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
