Job Description Job Description As the Payroll & HR Specialist , your role would involve handling various aspects of employee compensation and benefits within the organization for 200 employees, and working as an important teammate within the administrative office of 6 people. This includes calculating wages, deductions, overtime, and any other adjustments. Benefits Administration: Assist employee with benefits program such as health insurance, retirement plans, vacation policies, and other perks offered by the company. You'd be involved in enrollment, changes, and resolving benefits-related inquiries. Compliance: Ensuring that all payroll and benefits processes comply with relevant employment laws and regulations, such as tax withholding, overtime rules, and benefit plan requirements. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, payroll data, and benefits-related documentation. Problem Solving: Addressing employee inquiries and resolving any issues related to payroll, benefits, or deductions. Reporting: Preparing and generating various payroll and benefits reports for management, HR, and accounting purposes. Collaboration: Working closely with the HR department, finance team, and external vendors, such as benefits providers and other payroll processors. Policy Communication: Informing employees about payroll and benefits policies, procedures, and any changes that may occur. Qualifications : To excel in this role, you'll need to have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a good understanding of payroll regulations and benefit plans. Additionally, communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you'll be interacting with employees and other teams regularly. As technology plays a vital role in modern payroll and benefits management, proficiency with relevant software and tools is highly beneficial. You will work closely in Paylocity and HRIS systems for managing employee data and payroll processing. _______________________________________________________________ Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
