– $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for direct hire
Holidays: Paid Holidays About the Opportunity We are partnering
with a leading home medical equipment organization to find a PAP
Specialist who is passionate about helping patients and thrives in
a fast?paced, collaborative healthcare environment. This role plays
a key part in ensuring patients receive timely and compliant
repairs for their PAP (CPAP/BiPAP) equipment while delivering
exceptional customer service. You’ll work directly with patients,
insurance providers, and equipment manufacturers—making a real
impact on patients’ quality of life every day. What You’ll Do As a
PAP Specialist – Patient Equipment Repairs, you will: Handle
inbound patient calls (English and Spanish if bilingual) regarding
PAP equipment repairs and service requests Schedule service visits,
process repair orders, and track equipment shipments and returns
Perform basic troubleshooting of PAP machines Accurately enter and
maintain patient, insurance, and authorization data in internal
systems Work closely with physician offices, internal sales teams,
and support staff to obtain and validate required documentation
Prepare, submit, and respond to Medicare and insurance audit
paperwork to ensure compliance Educate internal and external
partners on compliant documentation and identify process
improvement trends Maintain strict patient confidentiality and
adhere to HIPAA guidelines Participate in team meetings, trainings,
and cross?functional collaboration Support team knowledge?sharing
through mentoring and reference materials Complete required
compliance and educational training Perform additional duties as
assigned What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications High School
Diploma or equivalent 2 years of customer service experience in a
call center environment 1 year of healthcare-related call center
experience 1 year of medical office scheduling experience Working
knowledge of insurance plans, deductibles, and co-pays 1 year of
experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred
/ Plus Skills Bilingual Spanish (call center experience strongly
preferred) Background in DME, home medical equipment, pharmacy,
diabetic supplies, or healthcare billing Experience working with
Medicare-certified environments Comfortable adapting to change in a
dynamic healthcare setting Team-oriented, upbeat, and

based out of Elmhurst, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
