Job Description Position Overview: The Mechanical Designer will work in a new product development environment and support the development (from concept to production) of high current and voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center products. Position reports to local Development Engineering Manager and may take direction from engineers and project managers. With support, the designer is responsible for application, conception, creation, release and support of industrial power control products (Motor Control Centers), consistent with company and industry standards for quality, safety and reliability while optimizing cost and manufacturability. You will develop CAD drawings for mechanical applications, work as part of a team, and be involved in other design related activities. The Essentials- What You Will Have: /n - High School Diploma or GED. /n - Legal authorization to work in the US is required - we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. /n /n The Preferred - You Might Also Have: /n - Typically requires 2 years of relevant mechanical CAD software (CREO, Pro/E, AutoCAD) design experience.
