Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an
elementary school setting in Chicago, IL, covering a leave
assignment through the end of the current school year (May 22,
2026). This role involves working in a self-contained early
childhood center, supporting students with speech and language
needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy
services to students in a self-contained early childhood setting.
Design and implement individual treatment plans tailored to student
needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate
therapy goals into classroom activities. Conduct assessments and
maintain accurate records of student progress. Communicate
effectively with parents, caregivers, and school personnel
regarding student development. Qualifications and Experience:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Possession of a
Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement issued
through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Certification
of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
preferred. Experience working in school-based or early childhood
settings is highly desirable. Location: On-site position in a
Chicago, Illinois elementary school. Fully on-site with no virtual
