Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available in Des Plaines, IL, offering a dynamic environment
focused on supporting students communication development. This role
involves providing direct speech and language services within a
school setting, with opportunities for travel to various school
locations, allowing for a diverse caseload and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments,
develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions
for students with communication disorders. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to support students
academic and social communication needs. Maintain accurate
documentation, progress reports, and participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings. Travel between school sites as
needed to provide services across multiple locations.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working
with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting. Strong
knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and
therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication and organizational
skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a
team. Willingness to travel between assigned school locations.
Location:Des Plaines, IL with travel to surrounding schools as part

Compensation for this position ranges from $42.13 to $61.40.
