Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description In this role, you will support another employee in Lifetest by helping set up and tear down units for reliability testing, collecting and inputting data electronically, monitoring equipment, making basic component changes, maintaining the reliability areas, dismantling scrap units, and assisting the Performance Lab in prepping units for test. Responsibilities Assist in setting up and tearing down units for reliability testing. Collect and input data electronically. Monitor equipment for performance and reliability. Perform basic component changes as needed. Maintain general upkeep of the reliability areas. Dismantle scrap units responsibly. Support the Performance Lab in prepping units for testing. Essential Skills Proficiency with hand and power tools. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Mechanically inclined with general production skills. Ability to collect data, inspect equipment, and update logs on a computer. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with packaging and assembly. Ability to unpackage and prepare equipment for testing. Physical capability to stand and walk on concrete all day, and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs. Work Environment The work environment includes a comfortable, temperature-controlled facility with a 1st shift schedule from 5:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 5am to 9am on Fridays. While the lab may experience temperature ranges from 40 to 110 degrees, you will not be exposed to these conditions for extended periods. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Manitowoc, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
