Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Internal Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st 12-hour days, every
other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Clinical competence
and experience in the care and management of target patient
populations specific to area of employment. License: Current state
Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a
participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications:
Mandatory BLS certification Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of
nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion
of education at an accredited School of Nursing. - Associate's
degree in Nursing. Description: The Registered Nurse is a
practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and
evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an
inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in
the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role
involves clinical competence and experience in the care and
management of specific patient populations. Professional knowledge
of nursing theory and practice is crucial for eligibility for
licensure as a Registered Nurse. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is
preferred, although not required.
