Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Rockford, IL Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,532 to $2,726 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title RN Hospital, Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Lab City/State: Rockford, Illinois Shift: Variable Day Shift Hours with Evening, Weekend and Holiday On-Call Rotation; Up to 2 weekends of on-, 4x10 Flex, 07:00:00-17:00:00 Contract Length: 10.00-4,91 Start Date: 02/09/2026 Job Description: This position involves utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients in the Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Lab. Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care and documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and-or clinic policy including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units and-or departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience and escalates appropriately. Participates in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities and decisions, and peer review process. Engages in personal development and supports system-entity opportunities for continuous learning and growth. Initiates interdisciplinary collaboration to meet the patient/family educational needs. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience required. Licensed as a RN in Illinois.
