Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: South Bend, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active license required prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience required. Cerner experience required. Description: MUST PASS TELE RHYTHM IDENTIFICATION QUIZ. It is required that all nurses are proficient in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These floors are true cardiac floors. Not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health. Will require floating across all adult inpatient departments, including cardiac stepdown, oncology, ortho/trauma, post-surgical, rehab, and ICU stepdown as needed. First-time travelers are accepted. Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs. Block schedule is accommodated. Travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Pending licenses are accepted but must be active by start. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Patient care will include handling various diagnoses such as respiratory issues, trauma, and multi-system organ failure. Involves management and interpretation of dysrhythmias and IV medications. Daily census typically includes 24 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Special procedures include bedside procedures and conscious sedation. Ideal candidates should have experience with charting in Cerner. The maximum amount of RTO allowed is 10 days. Expectations around professional conduct are high, with immediate consequences for any unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs. Complete required modules prior to the start of the assignment.
