Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 15, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Unit position in Southeast Wisconsin, requiring at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience and proficiency with Epic EMR. Details - Acuity adaptable critical care unit — not a traditional pure ICU setting - Day shift: 07:00–19:30 - Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required - Floating may be required within skill set to other units onsite or to facilities within 40 miles - Epic EMR used; experience required - CRRT experience utilized in this unit; balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience a plus - Competency in sheath pulls required Requirements - Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand - BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued) - ACLS certification required (must be AHA-issued) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with ICU experience - Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration - 2 professional references required - Copy of Driver's License required - Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information - CRRT, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz catheter experience are preferred but not required - Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate — contact your recruiter for details - Skills checklist and copies of all certifications and license verification must be submitted for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-674598.
