Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A state-licensed Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time, contract position supporting elementary and middle school students in Elgin, IL. This role involves working 37.5 hours per week during the school schedule at two different sites, providing OT services primarily in general education and resource classrooms, with some interaction in self-contained special education classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students across elementary and middle school levels Support general education, resource, and special education classrooms with individualized interventions Utilize sensory integration techniques and document student goals and progress Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student outcomes Maintain compliance with Illinois state licensure requirements Qualifications: Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in school settings or pediatric occupational therapy Familiarity with sensory integration methods and working with school-aged children Strong documentation and communication skills Location: Elgin, Illinois area Onsite work at two campuses, one per day (no travel required during the school day) Position Details and Benefits: W-2 contract position with weekly pay every Friday Full-time schedule aligned with the school day (37.5 hours/week) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) matching Immediate hiring for the current school year, with a preferred start in February Interviews conducted via Zoom for convenience This opportunity provides a structured educational setting for experienced Occupational Therapists passionate about supporting student development.
