BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The weekend supervisor provides leadership in program development and personnel management to facilitate the weekend program.

ADMINISTRATIVE RELATIONSHIP:

The weekend supervisor reports to the Executive Director and the PM Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree or higher
Current Illinois Substitute Professional Educator License registered in DuPage
Paraprofessional Licensure
One year experience in a program serving children or adults with disabilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Provides leadership in the development and scheduling of functional and age-appropriate activities in relation to the PRC weekend plan.
2.Supervision of all appropriate components of the residential and weekend educational program.
3.Keep accurate reports of significant student, parental, and staff issues to be reported to Executive Director and other pertinent individuals.
4.Enforce school policies and procedures.
5.Handle emergency situations, informing all pertinent individuals as necessary.
6.Coordinate personnel needs on the weekend shift, including coordinating classroom assignment changes, scheduling breaks, and participate in direct care with students when needed.
7.Complete required reports (QuickMar) and assure that the aides do also.
8.Coordinate other activities as deemed necessary by the Executive Director.
