as possible Position Summary Working knowledge of data network
support, proficient with a variety of technology devices and
applications. Well organized, customer service oriented & strong
problem solving skills required. MacOS/iOS support experience
preferred. Professional in demeanor, excellent verbal and written
communication skills, and ability to relate well with employees,
staff, and students in all situations. Technology support skills
test required to qualify for an interview/consideration.
Qualifications High School Diploma Required (College Degree
Preferred). 3 years experience in related field/position. Desired
certifications include; Apple Certifications, A+, CCNA or Network+.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not all inclusive) Assists
with the completion of advanced technology service requests as
assigned. Assists with supporting and training other Technology
Services staff. Configures and maintains technology related
hardware and software for use by the students, teachers, and
administrative staff. Assists with developing device configurations
and establishing user guidelines. Assists with maintaining an
accurate inventory of technology devices and software. Assists with
the ongoing documentation and creation of procedural guides,
specialized building maps, and standards related to using
technology devices/systems. Assists with problem-solving requests
reported by students, staff and team members. Assists with
identifying technology issues or concerns that need to be
communicated with Technology Services Technicians and staff. Uses
initiative, tact and judgment in the completion of administrative
requests. Responsible for assisting with Support Help Desk or
Support Hotline. Responsible for or assist with supervising
seasonal or part-time workers. Responsible for assisting with
off-peak hour support projects as needed. Will assist with seasonal
tech operations, administrative meetings or special events. May
assist with the installation or maintenance of in-ceiling/wall data
cables. May be required to work on devices containing
sensitive/confidential information. Must be able to climb ladders
and work on ceiling or wall-mounted devices. Must be able to lift
equipment weighing up to 50lbs as needed. May perform other duties
as assigned by supervisor or designee. Knowledge and Skills Ability
to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence,
surveys and electronic media. Ability to write professional
communications Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Ability
to complete and apply basic mathematics concepts Ability to respond
to questions from individuals and groups Ability to communicate
clearly and concisely Ability to establish and maintain effective
working relationships Familiarity with testing administration (for
instructional positions) Physical Demands and Work Environment The
physical demands described here represent those that must be met by

close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, the
ability to withstand long-term use of video display terminals (VDT)
is required. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
such as reference books. The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate. The pace of work tasks would be considered as
fast. Work is usually conducted at one job site, however, on
occasion, this employee will be required to attend meetings,
conferences, or workshops and events at other sites as assigned.
