Integrity Trade Services is IMMEDIATELY hiring for a Wire cutter/Warehouse associate at our client that is a worldwide distributor of Electrical products and is located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire 2nd shift-Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm Job Summary As a Warehouse Associate – Wire Cutter, You will support warehouse operations by accurately cutting, labeling, and staging wire based on customer order specifications. You’ll operate the wire cutting machine, maintain cutting logs, and ensure safety and efficiency throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Essential Functions: • Safely operate the wire cutting machine to maximize cuts per reel. • Identify and select correct wire types using manufacturer reel labels. • Accurately measure and cut wire according to cut tickets and customer requirements. • Record top and bottom footages on each completed cut. • Maintain detailed logs of all wire cuts and daily machine inspection sheets. • Use partial reels and coils to fulfill orders efficiently. • Label and place cut wire on appropriate equipment for delivery or staging. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. • Report wire material shortages, damages, or scrap to the department lead. Non-Essential Functions : • Assist with picking and packing orders as needed. • Help load and unload trucks. • Notify supervisor of any building or equipment issues. • Support other warehouse tasks or special projects as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies. • Strong attention to detail with consistent performance. • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently or in small teams. • Proficient in basic math and capable of reading and interpreting measurements. • Strong organizational and planning skills. • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking). • Positive attitude and strong work ethic. • Excellent customer service and teamwork mindset. Preferred Qualifications • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools/machinery. • Prior wire cutting or wire machine experience (training provided). • Forklift experience (training provided if needed). • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. • Basic computer entry skills. • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • Flexibility to work overtime with little notice. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave 401(k) with company match for eligible employees. Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.
