Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and industrial services, seeks an experienced Owner Operator OTR to join our Transportation & Logistics team. This critical role focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials, aligning with our mission to safeguard the environment. As an Owner Operator, you will handle the logistics of transporting waste and emergency response equipment, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while upholding Clean Harbors' commitment to safety and sustainability. Transport hazardous waste and emergency spill response equipment across North America. Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation for each shipment. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Coordinate with dispatch and management to optimize routes and schedules. Attend and pass all necessary company training and certification programs. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and HAZMAT safety. Proficiency in electronic log systems and transportation management software. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent navigational and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT endorsement. Clean driving record.
