Tellers perform cash and non-cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, money wires and more. Most importantly, a Teller builds relationships with the Members. If you have a knack for making people feel welcome and important, enjoy getting to know others, and are genuinely interested in their stories, this Teller Position might be the job for you!Some of your responsibilities will include:-- Sincerely greeting each Member into the branch with a warm and welcoming approach. Demonstrate Member-focused behaviors such as actively listening to member's needs, presenting valuable solutions, and expanding relationships to ensure each transaction inspires our members.-- Quickly and accurately assisting Members with cash and non-cash financial transactions using strict attention to detail, including but not limited to: payments, withdrawals, deposits, transfers, wire transfers, etc. ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations-- Maintaining knowledge of Credit Union products and services. Identify sales/referral opportunities and successfully direct the members to the appropriate Team Member for assistance.-- Demonstrating the ability to identify the legal elements of a check, including unsigned and non-negotiable items and accurately follows all check-processing procedures.-- Balancing the ATM on a daily basisWe are looking for candidates who have:A high school diploma or equivalent, an associate's degree is a plus* Six months of cash handling experience* Sales Experience Required* Customer Service or retail experience a plus* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong problem solving skills* Computer proficiency is preferred* Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsBranch Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-6:15pm Friday 7:45am-7:15pm Saturday 7:45am-3:15pmFULL TIMESATURDAY AVAILABILITY A MUSTLocal travel may be required
