  • Maintain a caseload of high and medium risk, probation-involved juveniles;
  • Provide intensive, therapeutic services in the family?s home and/or community;
  • On a rotating basis, provide 24-hour coverage to address crisis situations for families assigned to clinical caseloads on the caseload and participate in rotating crisis coverage for team;
  • Conduct case assessments which include reviewing referral information, identifying and engaging involved participants in the therapy process, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and analyzing problem behaviors within an ecological context;
  • Engage the primary caregiver and other involved participants in active, change-oriented treatment
  • Identify problems which contribute to delinquent behavior, develop treatment plans and implement interventions using methods compatible with the principles and practices of the therapeutic model;
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts for peer and supervisory review and feedback;
  • Collaborate with involved participants in all relevant systems to ensure their buy-in and cooperation;
  • Participate in comprehensive training, including quarterly booster trainings, intensive weekly Supervision.Requirements of this position include:
    • Master?s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Service field
    • Must be licensed as a LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or ALMFT or eligible for certification within two years of employment
    • Knowledge base in the following areas: family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral theory, cognitive behavioral theory, child development research, and social skills assessment and intervention
    • Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver?s license with the ability to drive;

      • Full-time work week is 37.5 hours. The Juvenile Justice Clinician will be expected to work extended hours Monday through Thursday (to include evening appointments) to accommodate school and work schedules for families and then will work a half-day on Fridays.

      • The Juvenile Justice Clinician is additionally compensated through set on-call pay and flexing hours worked on the crisis line that week
