Position Requirements:Bachelors degree in Athletic Training or related fieldStrong communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Basic computer knowledge in spreadsheet and word processing.NATA certified, and current Illinois licensure or eligibleCPR/AEDCompletion of Orthopaedic Technologist Certification 12 months from hire date Must be able to successfully complete clinic-based training for all associates.Ability to work with all levels of personnel.Ability to work under stressful situations.Frequent periods of extended standing and sitting.Possible lifting and assisting of patients.Ability to communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and parentsHighly energetic, motivated, resourceful and self-directed.Ability and flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously well organized.Strong ability to motivate others to initiate behavior change.Ability to work with diverse groups and special populations.Strong patient motivational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.Ability to work varied schedules with rotating hours.Innovative problem solving skills.If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015.
