Job Description & Requirements:

Assist Transport Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Local CDL-A Driver to join our team. The position offers a unique opportunity to work for a well-established logistics/ transportation company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

This is an hourly position. Our hourly rate is $21.00 to $25.00 Hour DOE. The candidate we hire should expect to work approximately 10 hours per day, (more or less) 5 days per week. Any hours over 40 hours are paid at time and a half. Occasionally, we will have Saturday work available and this is an option for you. We offer paid vacation, sick time, and personal days.

Job Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A
  
• Clean MVR
  
• Operate a newer model day cab
  
• Must consent to and pass random drug screenings
  
• Must consent to and pass a full background check administered by Assist Transport Services, Inc. AND Homeland Security
  
• Must have a current medical card
  
• Must provide verifiable work history and references
  
• Must be reliable, on-time, safe, and efficient when working
  
• Strong communication skills (must speak fluent English) and attention to details is very important
  
• Availability to work 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri.). There will also be occasional opportunities for O/T on Saturday s. This is an option.
