Join the Blue Bird Day team!Job DescriptionOur BCBA candidates should have experience working with children 2-7 years of age within a multi-disciplinary setting. Candidates should be ready to develop their skills in evidence-based practices, supervision, assessment, and program development. Ideal candidates should have the leadership and organizational skills necessary to act as Case Manager for assigned clients' therapy teams and act as primary point of contact for assigned clients' families. They should have extensive experience using the VB-MAPP, conducting FBAs, and confidence in using online data collection systems for program implementation and data collection. They should also be eager to learn from our team of outstanding and experienced therapists. Set schedule between 8am and 5pm!Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on effective strategies for clients.
• Administer evaluations for potential clients for applied behavioral analysis services and re-evaluate clients yearly for continued service.
• Maintain a caseload with direct and indirect service intervention, supervision of behavior therapists and documentation per week.
• Complete daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, initial and annual evaluations, plan of care documents to update goals and other documentation as needed within required time frame.
• Develop individualized behavior therapy programs and behavior intervention plans for the clinic, school, home, and community settings to be implemented by a behavior therapist.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
• Implement Blue Bird Day curriculum and to theories of practice models supporting Blue Bird Day's therapeutic model.
• Complete consistent communication with clients' parents/caregivers.
• Participate in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including weekly emails, phone calls and in person discussions.
• Create visual schedules, social stories, and home programs to help support therapy goals.
• Develop individualized goals for the school, clinic, home, and community settings to be implemented by a behavior therapist.
• Some travel required for client home support as needed.Requirements
  • Licensed BCBA
  • Masters degree required
  • Experience working with children or clients with special needs is a plus
