Summary:As the Vice President of Distribution Intelligence
Solutions, you will be part of Northern Trust Asset Management's
Wealth Client Group ("WCG"), primarily supporting distribution in
the intermediary channel with a focus on Data and Technology. You
will be working with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Technology,
Operations, Finance and other corporate functions to deliver
at-scale change in our technology, reporting, and analytical
capabilities. In your role, you will support WCG's strategic
business enablement agenda through the development of distribution
technology and data, providing thought leadership that supports the
modernization of current platform.The Vice President of
Distribution Intelligence Solutions will report to the Head of
Distribution Business Intelligence for WCG and be part of a team
that is charged with transforming data and technology into a more
valuable business asset in our journey to grow the intermediary
channel. This role collaborates with team members across the
enterprise to ensure that WCG data and technology programs have the
leadership and focus for successful delivery and adoption.The ideal
candidate will be a seasoned multi-disciplinary person with
extensive technical and business knowledge and experience. The
candidate will have demonstrated experience designing and executing
data and technology projects for distribution in a large financial
organization, working effectively with cross-functional teams to
facilitate alignment with stakeholders across the
organization.Responsibilities:Operating Model
- Drive implementation of WCG Distribution Business Intelligence
strategy ensuring that both business and enterprise requirements
are met for scope, target state, success criteria, and
progress.
- Manage the most complex technical projects. Act as a liaison
between our users, vendors, and technology teams to coordinate
resolutions. Proactively manage backlog that addresses stakeholder
needs in order of strategic priority. Triage of critical issues to
ensure that application operational SLAs are met.
- Identify program blockers and ensure that underlying root
causes are addressed in sustainable approaches and embedded in the
broader strategic vision.
- Drive distribution technology adoption and assist in the
training of new and existing users of WCG data tools and technology
platform.
- Ensure knowledge transfer of key enablers to other team
members, including mentoring other less experienced analysts.Data &
Technology
- Develop architecture vision for the distribution data ecosystem
that delivers scalable data product/solutions.
- Establish data management protocols to mitigate potential data
quality vulnerabilities and prioritize mitigation efforts.
- Design and deliver Salesforce CRM functionality that continues
to enhance end-user experience and to ensure the platform fits
going forward needs. This will include customizing and configuring
fields, layouts and workflow, optimized data model, analytics and
reporting and platform performance.
- Ensure seamless integration of tools such as Marketo, Seismic
and PowerBI and their support of key business processes.
- Work closely with WCG partners to support development and
delivery of metrics and insights in alignment with business
objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to identify
optimization and automation opportunities that enhance customer and
user experiences. Lead process re-engineering initiatives, ensuring
that all automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and
adhere to NT standards and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional team members to continuously enhance
and evolve the data and technology stack. Evaluate and recommend
new and emerging technologies and techniques that support the WCG
roadmap.Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in data architecture and data engineering
projects. Experience in modeling financial services data products
is a critical skill. Work experience to include asset/investment
management industry and expertise in understanding of business
processes and data requirements for Sales and Marketing teams.
- 10+ years' experience in distribution technologies required,
including Salesforce CRM, marketing engines, content management and
business intelligence software. Hands on experience in end-to-end
project management and across software development life cycle.
- Strong track record of delivery of technology projects
including strong collaboration skills across technologists,
business SMEs and clients is mandatory.
- Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, business
intelligence certifications and marketing engine certifications
preferred.
- Expertise in Data Ingestion/Egress - ADF, API and/or
ETL(s).
- Highly skilled in variety of languages or framework, such as
Java or Python. Strong proficiency in developing and optimizing SQL
modules.
- Working experience in Cloud technology - Azure, AWS, Snowflake
and/or prior experience in moving On-Prem applications to Cloud
model.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in field
like math, engineering or computer science.Knowledge, Skills &

actionable and structured approaches to unstructured problems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in running multiple projects with
efficiency and speed.
- Team player who works well with people from diverse backgrounds
and can engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent technical communication skills to map business
concepts to information requirements and software needs.
- Agility to learn and quickly become comfortable with new
businesses areas or technologies.Salary Range:$133,500 - 226,900
USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern
